The problem with rubber is that it is very susceptible to changes in temperature and it expands and contracts as it gets hotter and colder.

																	I take wd 40 with a sort of nozzle thing the tube that comes out of it and i ll spray it around the door jamb and in the locks and that helps me open the door. 
																	I have a 2005 car and the rear door seals often stick. 
																	So many older cars have a noisier drafty ride because the seals are not tight.

																	But it also seems to happen if i leave the car parked in the sun even for a few hours. 
																	Because it really does feel like it s sealed shut.
